When a product say "San Marzano Region" it means grew near San Marzano, but wasn't close enough or good enough or the right variety to be sold as San Marzano tomatoes. But they can still be pretty good, and are easier to find in this country.

I knew I had more garlic, and I finally found it. This isn't sad looking garlic either, though it has sprouted.
And in finding the garlic, I reminded myself I have onions to go in it. I'd completely forgotten them.
And lastly, the macaroni. Half length ziti that I broke further in half to make quarter length ziti.
