I started with pork chops cut from a loin.

Then I pounded them flat. Picture for comparison.

Like last time, my glaze was made from soy sauce, sugar, and corn starch. I used more of each this time.

I was going to let it marinate for hours, so I needed lunch in the meantime. I had breakfast instead. Bacon (not pictured raw) and purple hash browns.

Much later, I got out my beet greens. I'd been feeling guilty about throwing them away. Two Farmer's Markets ago I'd given mine to someone in line, just so they wouldn't be wasted. But this week, I decided not to waste them.

I stir fried them with my marinated pork.

And white rice!

In the end, I rememebered why I never cooked my beet greens. I hate them. I like beets, just not the greens.
