Water rights are quite contentious around these parts. It's no wonder the Water Conservancy people have outfitted their equipment like Mad Max.
Me, Cory, and Chris built a camera today. The lens is a Type I Kodak Aero-Ektar f/2.5 309mm. It has no focus adjustment.
First it had to be cleaned.
Once it was clean, you could see through it!
The camera body is a cardboard box with a glory hole in it.
The lens is mounted with zip ties and clothes pins.
First we shot onto parchment paper and photographed the back side. It worked.
A variety of methods were tried to take pictures, but in the end the parchment paper is working the best.
